Well I thought I would finally take the kids to the awesome museum there in Pensacola. We were there to drop the boys off with Jaesen's family so they could go and spend some time in Louisiana, but I detoured them to the museum first. The kids took off running, not sure if they were excited to see planes or just excited to get out of the car after a 6 hour drive. At any rate, it is such a great museum and there are plenty of hands on activities to keep them occupied. With my kids right now we can only attend museums that allow touching the pieces or we would all be promptly arrested for dismantling a museum. All in all it was a fun day of planes and helicopters, guns and the Blue Angels!

John's old boss, Fitzgerald, had some gear in the museum when John and I first got married and were stationed in Tampa. I made fun of him because museums were for "old" stuff. Great museum!
