And Baseball Season is Over!

And now we have a couple months off, before we start the insanity of soccer season. Tristan had the first game of the day and the coach played them all in different positions and Tristan even got to pitch. Obviously, we didn't care whether we won or lost based on where they played the kids, though that was hard for me to deal with. I am way to competitive and what is the point of playing a game if you aren't at least trying to win? We did not win, although we did lead for a great portion of the game. Tristan did not have a good game which was a bad way to end the year and hard for him. Alas, he has many years of baseball left to redeem himself. Jack had a pretty good game, but it was 95 out when they played at 330 and all the kids wanted to do was sit in the shade and drink Gatorade. Jack's baseball party followed the game and they had a bouncy house for the kids and a cookout. Unfortunately, Tristan came down with a fever so we didn't stay late but got him home and too bed. I will save oodles of money without having to visit the concession stand now, no more ring pops, hot dogs, cheese fries or nachos with jalapenos on them. Maybe I can afford gas for my car now. Until next spring and we start it all over again!
